Southdown Whiteway Church & Community Partnership

The Southdown Whiteway Church and Community Partnership is based at the Southdown Methodist Church Centre and employs a Church and Community Worker to offer caring Christian support to families, individuals and organisations in the Southwest area of Bath.

Chapel House Community

Chapel House Community

The Chapel House Community, next to Walcot Methodist Chapel, Bath, is an adventure in Christian discipleship and community living based upon a way of life.
The community is made up of 2 parts:  a student residential community in Chapel House, and an extended, non-residential community made up of others who have committed to follow the same way of life and to pray for those who live in the house.

Murama Free Methodist Church

Rwanda ‘Inshuti’ Partnership

In 2019, the Methodist Churches in the Bath area launched a twinning relationship with Murama Free Methodist Church on the Share Peninsula in Rwanda. ‘Inshuti’ is the Kinyarwandan word for friendship.

There have been two group visits to Rwanda since then. We also support other projects including PHARP (Peacebuilding, Healing and Reconciliation Project) and the Amizero Physiotherapy Centre in Kigali.

With You

Student Chaplaincy

Karen Turner is the Methodist chaplain at both Bath Universities and is developing a new initiative called With You which aims to work in the community and offer chaplaincy support to students in the neighbourhoods where they live, rather than exclusively on campuses. withyou.org
